What a great few days we had last week! Everything started off with over 75 of our members attending the Showdown at Symphony on Wednesday night. We had the chance to be a part of the biggest squash event in the sports' history! Jonathan Power, Ramy Ashour, Amr Shabana and Gregory Gaultier led the way for a fun and entertaining evening. Those who attended were awed at the level of play and also the various skills the pros showed off!
On Thursday, The BRC was fortunate enough to host Jonathan Power and Hisham Ashour for our own "BRC Squash Showdown." We had a phenomenal turnout of members (over 100!!) to see Tai challenge each pro...and boy did he give them a run for their money!
After a month of play, the winners of the BRC in-house tournament had the opportunity to challenge either Jonathan or Hisham to a squash game as well. Twelve games and lots of fun and laughs later, everyone was sad to see such a great day end. We want to thank Jonathan Power, Hisham Ashour, John Nimick, our members, guests, staff and friends for their unbelieveable support to make the occasion such a special one!
